    "The Black"

    Hey Fellow XSives,
For those of you who've seen what "The Black" used to look like, here's what she looks like now !

    "The Black" is back !!!!

I found an '80 Standard with only 14,000 miles on it. The motor in "The Black" had 166,000 miles on it. Remember the cloud of black smoke ??? LOL
65 hours wet sanding the motor, new 4 into 2 exhaust system from Mac, sent to Precision Powder Coating, where it was black ceramic coated (it's supposed to be good to 2000 degrees), major rebuild on the carbs, new jets in the carbs are .041 mm on the pilots, and the mains are now 138.5, Yes, I made my own jets !
I'm very pleased with the way it runs, she's just smooth!!

    XSively,
    Bruce

      Hey Bruce,

You really should join and setup a PHOTODUMP account, Imagestation doesn't allow direct linking of photos, and people have to be registered to ImageStation to see your album!!
SO...I grabbed the photos, cropped them, resized them to 640pixels wide to prevent side scrolling, and loaded them to my Photodump account! Here they are! Yes, your machine looks awesome, and I'll be grateful not to have to eat your smoke while riding behind you anymore!!
