What do you guys think, I checked yamaha site for the #'s so I know XS650 rotors fit a 78E.

EBC Front Left Rotor (Yamaha XS 1100 E/F/G/H 1978-1981)
    Description:
EBC Pro-lite floating rotors are complete bolt-on and go rotor assemblies made with forged aluminum center hubs, high friction billet steel rotor rings and sturdy riveted construction. Low carbon steel units zinc plated to minimize corrosion.
Note: On this brand of rotor you have a left and right side

    MSRP: $199.00
    Manufacturer: EBC

On a 78 XS1100E all rotors are the same, what do you think about the dif between Stainless Steel & billet steel. Which one do ya'll think would give better braking and life?

I think there a little pricey but what you can get off eBay are just as old and tired as ours.
There's always a way, figure it out.

From what I recall about stainless vs carbon steel is that stainless dosen't rust but is a bit slippery when wet, and carbon steel is better when wet, but will show surface rust.

I think they're cool if you have the coin...

The left and right comes from the patern on the drilled rotors. If you have 2 of the same it will look funny but I don't see how it would be a problem. The 1980 on slotted rotors are also left and right specific and the only difference is the patern of the slots.
