    and you'll win... absolutely nothing!

Except getting recognized for being observant.

That's a lot of carb parts!! Some leaky floats were found, Denny is putting the final touches (float height) on a rack-o-carbs for Sid's bike. Two tries later, Sid said his bike has never run so good. Great, just what we all need - now Sid is even faster!

(The third try is when Jeremy found the pilot jets were not OEM Mikuni jets in the second set of carbs - Denny can be forgiven for not spotting that as he was working on at least 3 bikes at once!)

Okay, so what's wrong with this picture?

and ; on my jobs, I keep the floats covered with float bowl
cover bottoms, at least lightly screwed down, to protect 'em.
Unless , it's the one I'm working on, at the time.

yep, too easy Kirk was first!!!

The hammer was for tapping a drift to start the float pins out, light touch.

Those loose floats are the ones with leaks!

If he's not careful, that beer can might end up on the carb. Now that would be sharp!

The hammer is wrong. You need a claw hammer for carb work. Any good practioner of percussive maintenence would recognize this......

dunno... what are the tube thingies doing at the end of the air filter? Just a coincidence?
Inline fuel filters look too small...

                      And that's a beer?

Well, if it is, the problem is obvious... I aint there to drink it

Tubes are float bowl vents, I think. Filters do look small, but they seem to work!

Too bad you weren't there to grab that beer

The feller is working on a bank of 3carbs not on the bank of 4 carbs. He is obviously a triple rider scavenging a bank of XS11 carbs for a lesser purpose.
