  • Intersted in Racing??? Maxton, NC

Just curious, but anyone out there interested in doing some landspeed racing??

It's great inexpensive fun, and we love to see new riders show up every month. It's a standing mile with one person on the track at a time.

It really helps clear out the cobwebs, and you can't hide behind your age or gender. I've raced with guys over 70 and as young as 16. I've also had the pleasure of getting my butt kicked by women riders some older than me (very humbling).

And size doesn't matter 2cc to 3000+cc there is a different class for everyone.

Full throttle for 10-25 times in two days and nothing to do but hang out with other riders and talk cars and bikes....ladies and gentemen correct me if I am wrong but......

ISN'T THIS THE DEFINITION OF HEAVEN???????

    Ride safe,
    Jack

I checked out the site you posted and I for one am a-f-n-mazed. 256 miles per hour on a bike. What???? Three dudes in the 200+ nekid club. Stones my man. HUGE stones.
I enjoy going fast and getting fast quick but that's nutz... I'd like to show up to one as a spectator only.

          It's getting closer

Sorry so long in responding, but my computer threw a rod.

Great to hear some interest in the sport. I have raced at Maxton for about three years now and have broken 10 land speed records. I was there to see the 200 MPH naked runs and the 256MPH Hayabusa.

I have no doubt in my mind that crack is LESS addictive than this sport. There literally is no way to describe the feeling of running top speed over and over....man, I am gonna bust just thinking about it.

          Here is the decree....

GET THEE TO MAXTON AND RACE THOSE THINGS!

If not, then go anyway and watch.

          Ride safe,
          Jack
