  • xs750 custom chopper

I know it kind of fits in the "other bike" forum, but you need to check this out.

Owned by a pair of XS11's. An 80 Standard and a 79 Special.

every time that I see an xs 1100 engine for sale on ebay I think that I am going to go buy it and go OCC on a frame. I would love to biuld something like that. It would have to be a 2nd bike though. Looks uncomfortable as hell.

I like hardtail choppers, but I'm not so big on the extreme front end. Still, it's pretty impressive. I like the black one better, though.

Looks cool, but my tired old bones just cringe at the though of a hardtail bike. Maybe if you just ride in onto the trailer it is not so bad!
I have a bike and I am not afraid to use it

XS bikes are SUPER popular with the chopper building crowd. Please don't mention OCC or any of the other designer bikes out there- with rare exception, most guys building choppers have very little respect for those guys, ESPECIALLY the OCC guys, which are basically component bikes that they hang custom pieces on- you don't see OCC building frames, do you?

I am building a '75 Z1 900 chopper right now- and it is not hard tailed. It doesn't have to be hard tailed to be a chopper! Just custom built LOL

Well, I have some very crude mockup pics- and no idea how to post pics on this forum, so here is a link:

I have started a small fabrication shop, that does all kinds of custom work locally (so, unless you want shipping to alaska and back, I only do local work, so this is not an advertisement LOL)- but right now, it seems bikes is all I have since fuel prices went through the roof.

Here is a thread to my other bikes and my recent "scores" LOL

I have a XS 1100 that will be undergoing the trike conversion as soon as the snow flies. I have a possible buyer, and if he comes through, he will get the deal of the century for a custom bike LOL- since he is not only a friend but allowing me to use him as a test subject on trikes LOL
