I want to buy a motorcycle cover, nothing special just something to keep the dust out mainly. Any suggestions? Or, does anybody know of a good size comparison to a newer bike?

I have a Dowco on my dressed E and a Nelson-Rigg on my nekkid LG. The E lives outside and the LG is sheltered. Both covers are the all-weather, heavy-duty covers.

        Randy,
How does the XXL fit? I don't have any extras or frills on mine and short drag bars to boot. Would the XL be a better choice for me or does the XXL fit nice and snug?

I tried the XL, didn't fit, so I gave it to my brother for his li'l Honda

The XXL just fits snug on my 79F, I only have a backrest and rack, otherwise it's stock.

I got mine at walmart for 20 bucks the other day. The website lists it for $46.15
            It'll last about 3 years.
The XL fits mine just great.

Interestingly enough, The cover is so large that before I started bungee cording the back cover to the bike, it would fill with air in a good wind and sail up over the bike. We got enough wind last year that it pulled the bike over a few times.

I keep my bike in the garage. I do use a cover to keep the dust down. It's an old fitted king size bed sheet. Seems to work O.K. for the last few years. Mabee it's time to upgrade to an actual cover.

                  JC,

You got the XXL by Nelson Rigg, or another brand?

Yep I got the Nelson. Maybe the 81SH isn't as big as the your '79. No big deal.
