79 xs 1100 2H7 F model

Hi, just wondering if anyone has #2and#3 carbs with good idle screw holes for parts, I need to replace those two carb bodies and those two slides if possible.
Also plan B is does anyone know of newer technology carbs that will bolt on ?
These OEM carbs are hard to find around my way.

Hey, Mike, what's wrong with the idle screw holes on the carbs you've got?

The idle screws are smushed and broke off, I got one of them out but I can't get the other piece out. And if I push the slides up and cover the hole for it, Those two creep back down.

Aha! What you need to do is use the search tool at the top of the page and look for 'push pin trick ' to find a couple of articles on ways to get out those broken-off pilot screw tips. That'll end up being way cheaper than a new set of carbs.
