  • xs1100 crash bars

as a member of the uk xs1100, we the club have been offered a large amount of front crash bars all brand new about 60 sets from a chap in the usa,i was just wondering if any body on here as been offered any,as i cannot understand why this forum has been overlooked with 2000+ members to our club with only 60+ members.we are to send the money first though could this be a scam that as we are over the pond we cannot do anythink about once he has our money?

If it sounds too god to be true

Then it probably is. What is the information you have on him?

I'd be questioning the validity of this deal too. Being that we have *so* many members all throughout the states, I'd bargain we would have at least a couple in the area where this chap is located. Perhaps someone could go check it out?

If it is the real deal, the guy shouldn't have a problem letting one of us visually verify the goods.

If it is Rob, I'm running a set of his bars. They work well on the E and F models, and should fit the G as well. They are a "large diameter" tube, about 2.4 cm, not 2 cm of the normal small bars.
I'm happy with them, and he did send them out in a reasonable fashion.
I think he ended up with about 40 sets from a dealer who sold out his old stock. He did well by me, and should be trustworthy.
