  • K&G Backrest Hardware Needed

I just bought a K&G backrest for my XS11 off Ebay and, of course, it didn't come with any hardware. I guess I should have asked.

It looks the spacer has about a 5/16" hole and is about 2" long with a 8mm x 65/70mm bolt. Does anyone have a clue where I could find these - Home Depot was fresh out of them.

    Metric Hardware Supply

    Hay Bill,
As nuts as this may sound, one of the best places to find metric hardware is a John Deere dealer, especially if the dealer handles lawn and garden equipment. Not many people realize that John Deere been using metric hardware since sometime in the 70’s. Hope you can find what you need there.
