Snake Oil
I have been a gear head for about 58 years. Seen things like this go by many many times. They really do not do what they claim. They just fire the fuel charge in the cylinder like any other good quality spark plug will.
If you have good compression, a decent fuel charge and a good spark at the right time, thats it. It does not get any better no matter what all of the snake oil salesman claims.

Not really snake oil, there is a lot of truth in some of the claims.
How do you think Japaneese cars get better gas mileage and more HP stan standard old technology. Putting two spark plugs in the cumbustion chamber gives two spark kernells and better chance of complete burning of the fuel mixture.
Mighty high claims they are making, but there might actually be some small increase in MPG/HP.
Time will tell.....When I die I want to go in my sleep like my Grandfather,... not screaming like the passangers in his car!Comment

That's the big lie theory. If you tell a lie big enough even though most people will see through it, they will think there must be some small grain of truth in it because people just don't tell big lies like that. No, I do not believe any of the big lie, just as I stated some of the technogloy has merit to it. A bigger spark does increase the flame front to ignite air/fuel mixture.
Do you remember around 1975 when all the auto makers switched to high voltage ingition systems? This created the avilability from spark plug gaps to go from .032" to .065"
Can you guess why? Simple: bigger hotter spark, not snake oil but technology.
All you belivers in snake oil must still be using IBM 8088 or Commidore computers beacuse you cannot understand techonogy. Very little has changed in spark plug technology in 100 years, one being the gap, another other being the substraights used in the manufacture of the cores, copper, platinum etc., another would be the size of the center electrode.
3 or 4 changes in 100 years and someone tries to improve it and a bunch of fogies start thumming down. Open your mind try new things, experiment a little a whole world might open up to you.
A lot of new technology comes from racing, see what they are using and doing, racers want the hottest biggest spark possible. They even index the plugs acording to the position of the grounding electrode in relation to the head.
It takes time to make technological advances, high voltage transistorized ingntions were around a long time before they were ever used in production vheciles in 1975, before then it was considered "snake oil" to some.When I die I want to go in my sleep like my Grandfather,... not screaming like the passangers in his car!Comment
