Some interesting answers to my woes

I was telling and old friend of my problems and he suggested cleaning off all the assembly grease, said it could add .010-.015 in thickness. I thought he was crazy. Guess what he was right. I cleaned off the top of the bucket and the shim and now I am much closer to correct. Only had a chance to the exhaust side last night. Just one size down from original is what I will need for that side.

Do Lee I'll let you know what I need when I get it figured out.
