Yep, I've got one. I've used the Gremlin Bells folks too, and their service was prompt and efficient. Their prices about a third of what you will pay at any bike shop or rally.

All my friends have them too . . .

They work too! (at least for me). See Why Did the Chicken? for that story . . .

        Bells

I understand that the legend says they only work if someone gives it to you as present.

Yes. I've got a bell. I don't know if someone has to give it to you or nor for it to work. But, At the Sturgis rally last lear I broke down on main street. Bike just would not start. I bought a gremlin bell and havn't had any problems with her since. ....
At least She started and I made it home. That's when I found out that my pickup coil fix wasn't fixed. Bells good... Gremlin bad....

I have a salvaged 99 venture that is equipped with one, proving that not only are chickens not affected, but neither are deer. I think I will replace it with a new one.

I have a bell on one of my bikes. It was given to me by my wife when we were motorcycling at Deal's Gap this past summer.
I may soon be relocating it from that bike to my XS, if I can find the heart to do it. I suppose it won't affect the "magic".

                  Bells

Right after I hit a deer in June 93 my wife gave a set of bells for the Ratbyk. Have not hit anything since and not broken down on the road with her ever since. Gremlin bells are good. As good as anything else we put faith in.

I just received mine this weekend in the mail.
Gary, at Gremlin Bells is great to do business with. I highly reccommend buying from them.
The strength of the leather strap that was supplied seemed questionable though. I think that I will use a small pc of silver chain, or maybe some small cable?

I secured my bell with a round, metal key ring; without the "fob" of course. I don't have much faith in a small leather strap either. It's just an idea that I thought may be useful to others too.
