    Fellow XSives -

Tina and I finally made it to California and found a place to live. I haven't fired up the bikes yet, but the weather's too nice to put it off any longer.

So here comes another insurance thread...

In Maine I carried bike insurance with Dairyland, but my agent told me they don't offer coverage in Calif. Progressive was nearly as cheap for Tina and Jon in Maine and I think they are available here. Those are the only two MC Insurance companies I'm familiar with.

So... what I'm trying to say is, "Does anyone have any information or recommendations for California MC insurance???" TIA!

It was 61° this afternoon, so we ate lunch on the patio. We BBQ'd steaks a couple of nights ago.

I knew there was something I liked about Calif before I left 18 years ago!

I concur with Pat Kelly, the best insurance in the state is Geico,,,,full coverage for my xj and others was 99.00 per year. Other companies were at least twice that, but Geico does require a decent driving background. I live in San "high priced" Diego, so if my cost is cheap here it should be elsewhere in this great state to ride......good luck, give them a call for a quote......Mike in Sun Diego
