  • Kudos to thumperjsa!!!

I am reporting back to everyone about the return of my new old 1979 XS to my home in Delray Beach... I want to thank thumperjsa, who volunteered to drive it back for me, he is a hero! The bike is a keeper, will need some work, but made it here in fine form thanks to thumperjsa, who went the distance...

I will say that I am also a rider now, too (!): after my wife moved her car, I drove the bike the last 40 feet to the top of the driveway... I am proud to say I didn't kill it or drop it, so I am on my way! Next challenge: 2nd gear!!!

Thanks again, thumperjsa, we will be riding soon!

    Congrats to all of you....
thumperjsa for riding, you for moving, keeping and hopefully restoring her and your wife for moving the car.
Just don't get killed and have lots of fun!

Your very welcome jazzrat. It was a pleasure meeting you and driving your bike to your home.

It was a nice day for a 350+ mile round trip.

      Enjoy it.
