Hey all! I have an 85 Maxim 700, and been looking for forums for a long time! This spring I'm gonna modify the thing like crazy! (Forged Pistons, Milling, port and polishing, bigger carbs, cams if I can, so you will see me around alot asking for advice

Welcome! You will find discussions mostly of the '78 - '82 1100 series, XS and XJ. The XJ 1100 is also known as a Maxim. Not sure how much of the acumulated knowledge will be good for the 700, but a lot of our discussions include information that should help you.
