Hello Everybody I would like to say thanks to all you Guys for having this great forum , even though i just became a member i have been using it for allmost 6-7 monthes allready (didnt have a e-mail address till recently) and have gained so much from you guys experiance and knowledge i have been an XS owner now for 8 monthes FIRST BIKE 1980 YAMAHA XS ELEVEN SPEACIAL and ive loved every second i decided to finally join when i fried my clutch a week ago and i thought i might be able to get some help for that project here , so any way thanks for the help gota go

Welcome to the group! You're in good company down there in Georgia, with Brent, Rob Haller, and many others I can't remember right now!!
As with your clutch, have you seen the tech tips, there are some decent photos about the clutch removal and installation in with the Dremmel 1st and 2nd gear fix tip! Putting the star plate back in is the most trickiest part, being careful NOT to catch the lips on the ends of the plate against the shafts of the 2nd pressure plate that the 6 bolts screw in to!!

Id love to get back on the road, its still good riding weather down here in Ga upper highs in the 70s lows in the 50s Got to love the winter weather Brrrrrrrrrr. anyway gota run see yaSSHHHHHHHHHHH (Cant talk now the Squirrels are Watching)
