New guy on block ( I Guess)

I just got a 1979 1100XS Special. It hasn't been started in 2 years and I need to know everything and anything. Tomorrow I am going to get it off the back of the truck and start a "tinkering". I am looking to get it "road ready" by spring. My winter project the wife says. Just out looking for help and direction.Thanks ahead of time.
