Any Denver or Front Range members care to check in? Might be cool to get together. I think there's still a few good riding days left this year.

I understand. Just went through the same thing myself. My bike was stored outside and hadn't been ridden in at least 10 years when I bought it. Finally finished an almost total rebuild this month.

Hello fellow Coloradoans! I was posting regularly here and riding quite a bit over the summer. Looks like recent turns of events may force me to sell my '81 venturer. Possible move to New Orleans within two weeks. Haven't listed the bike anywhere yet; this is the first mention of it at all. Gonna be very sad to see her go-it was a great summer in the mountains. Rather offer it locally on this forum than deal with a bunch of half-serious potential buyers taking up my time [which is somewhat limited at the moment]. Feel free to PM.Lot's of cool pix disappeared from my Steamboat Springs ride report-I'll try to get some back up. She needs a little attention-happy to go into detail if there's any interest.

          You'll regret parting with it...

Take the bike! It's an excellent ride along the Louisianna coast over to Texas from Noreleans. Grand Isle is a nice trip as is Fort Jackson south of NO. Heading east to Florida is a nice ride also. Just don't insult the Cajuns!!

Looking forward to riding the southlands-all previous rides have been in New England [grew up there- Honda CB450 at age 14], the Bay Area from '90 thru 2000 [PCH on a '79 sf;what more can I say], and lately the front range. Rebuild of the Steamboat Springs ride report forthcoming. Unfortunately, Venturer may not be the bike I'll doing it on. Still not officially listed yet, so if if any of you folks are interested, lmk.
