    Yamaha Golf Carts?

Anybody own/work on Yammie carts? My dad has one, probably a 1992. Runs like crap. Tuneup/repair tips? I was going to recommend a carb rebuild to start.

I seem to recall a thread from another XSive who was planning to install an XS11 engine into a golf cart! Will probably do about 18 holes an hour!

There's a shop on Beach Boulevard north of Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA that advertises Yamaha. I think, though, that they are dealing in Go-Karts rather than golf carts. I could find out for you, if you wish.

i am putting an xj motor into my ezgo golf cart, if you where referring to me? It's a PITA to put this motor in, so much complication for something that sounded so simple! Thanks

I'm not the least bit suprized. If you ever get it going, you're not going to be to welcome driving it on any golf course.

            Finally Realized!

Well as the design of the golf cart gets done wehave figured out that we are most likely going to need a XS or XJ frame that is in good condition, it realy doesnt matter if the front or back is tweaked as long as the engine mautnign areas are ok, does anyone know where i might find one, ebay hasnt been much help. Thanks

              Need a frame?

I have an XJ frame that is yours for the cost of shipping. It is pretty much bare. Let me know if you are interested.
