  • steering greabox seals

I know this is not a bike question, but does any one out there know where I might purchase a seal kit for a power steering gear box (Jeep)?

Most any auto parts store should have them in stock.
If you can't find them I know I can get them (ex-parts mgr at a jeep and 4x4 shop). Let me know if I can help.

      Pat,

Thanks for the info. Olympia Washington is auto-parts store challanged. Being a small town and a state capital, if it is not office supplies, they don't have it. I will check with a couple of auto parts stores in the big city (Tacoma).

If there is a bearing dealer in Tacoma, they'll have them for less.

scored! The parts place had to order the kit in. $35 and will be here Monday. Much better than the $280 to replace the gear box.
