    Hey XSwilly

How is the foliage this weekend? I'm heading up there sunday, and my Mom says it's not that good around Waterville. What's it like in southern Me?

Fall colors are peaking here in Colorado. I'm going for a long ride later this AM to enjoy it. Frost on the ground last several mornings, cold front coming in later this weekend, and fresh snow on the plateaus areund here. Riding season is coming to and end, time to get out and enjoy these last few days.....

        What's coming next?

The annual winter restoration project? I can't say I miss it. But when we are having weeks of temps in the 100's, I do miss a good run down the side of Saddleback Mt.

          hey john
          speaking of winter projects
          i just brought home a 1980 xs11 standard today
been sitting in the middle of a guys lawn for a few weeks
finally he put it aside the road
          wanted 200 dollars for it
alot of neglect and 44 grand on the odo
          but lots of parts
          batterys down, does turn over
and almost started, but not quite
will check it out in the next few days
          prob just parts
          so now i got 3 xs11s
1 on the road the others waiting thier turn

i thought the parts bike i had was going to go on the road easy
          but lots of problems
so now i got 2 problem children

Me and the wife took a great ride today, though the north country of NY state, lots of nice reds, yellows, and oranges. It don't get much better than this.

Warm coat, long johns, boots, gloves, chaps...the only thing missing is...an...XS! At least we shouldn't run into any snow...should we? Last time we went up there we wound up in Canada, and it snowed like hell that day. Ist week in April!
Glad to hear you found a deal on another XS11. Well, now we know what YOU'LL be doing on those lonnngggg, collllldddd winter days.

What I wouldn't give to for a nice long leisurely putt through the woods this time of year. eXessive1120 offered me the use of one of his XS's, what a guy, but where he lives in Vt. is a long way from where I'll be in Maine. It was a great offer, but...
