Side covers on E bay 80SG

2490302843 This is the right side
Right now they are $31 each.

anyone know if these would these fit a 79 special?

i read somewhere the posts are different. square or something.

Hey Beech. How are the side covers mounted on your bike? Some of the older ones had rectangular slots for mounting. My 80 SG has rounded holes for mounting.

well at top they slide onto long (rectagular?) rubber mounts.

on bottom the right side is circular - and the left side is more square as it locks.
