  • How many miles ?????

How many miles on your bike? How many have you put on it? It had 26k showing when I bought it in 91, but the speedo had been changed at some tim, as it has a 160 mph speedo instead of the 85 mph one that should be on an 80SG. It now has 93,686 miles showing.

    didn't know

i was writing my thread when john came up with this, sorry. I just turned 50,000 ,i can't remember XSactly how many when i bought it,i think it was around18,000. But i sure hope to put another 50,000 + on it before i'm done with it,than hopfully some young man will appreciate it for 25 more years after that. Just think about it a 75-80 year old bike that still smokes the new bikes.

MIYAMI had 26700 when I bought her in april 2001. She's now got 36064. Not bad for sitting in storage for one of the three years that I've had her. She'd be getting more miles on her but I'm waiting on a new neutral light switch that I ordered from Bike Bandit to get here, ( the old one sprung a leak )

Mine had 15 miles on it! Got it 2 years old in 83, in Japan from fellow serviceman who only drove it around barracks back yard!

The Odometer broke/froze at 995, I drove it for 2 years every day to work and back thru 4 seasons, that alone was 36k, plus a trip from Va., to Ft. Bening Ga and back, and many years of around town as well, so I figured I broke the 50k mark, have a new speedo/odo on it now, will have to remember to write down the starting mileage in my manual.....memory not as good as used to be!!

Mine has 43612 miles, but like others this is the second speedo. So I'm not really sure exactly how many miles it has.

Had 6000? on it when I bought it 16-17 years ago and I've got 50,250 on it now. It will still pull your arms out of the socket in 1st & 2nd with 130 top end, thats with me riding it, it still had about a 1/4 turn left on the grip.
There's always a way, figure it out.

My sg had 25,5xx when I go tit in 02.

61,6xx now, and still running. Planning have over 65,000 before the snow sticks.

                              Miles of miles

The XS11 has nearly 80,000 under the wheels, the Guzzi something a little over 58,000 and the Z1000 around 50,000

Thinking about it I put a fair few of those down myself
