Another excellent story! More than once I have sensed a "guardian angel" watching over me on my XS voyages.

OK.... still want more....

Gone for a short ride today. The sun was setting, not that I knew it. It was overcast, just on the break of rain. The light fading, bugs splatting on my helmet making rain noises... A bit cold too.
Some traffic, just enough to let me roar by and admire the power.
Saw an old 600 ninja comming the opposite way. Just like the one I used to have. At least the rider waved back
To sum it all up, it was dark, cold, lotsa bugs and I loved it. I got used to riding under such conditions when I had the ninja... Bought that bike in autmn, did bout 8000 miles that winter (little snow that winter), then it broke down in the spring. Didn't have a decent riding season till the XS was ready.
Anyway, want more stories.....
