    Strom's Motor

    Hello, Everybody !

    We all survived the trip to and from Montana!
    What a RIDE
    I'll tell you all the stories...later...Right now we got some work to do...

    My buddy could not get the time off to drive the engine from Minnesota to Idaho

    So he's crating it up...as we speak!

    And now the time for assistance begins...I do not know how much this will cost...but trucking from Minnesota...to Seattle, will cost money!
    And anybody who wants to help with this... ...should start to get ready...

    Here's what's happening so far...
    When the motor arrives in Seattle...It will then be flown as "non-essential crew cargo" to Copenhagen, Denmark...FOR FREE

    Then it will be driven (private vehicle) into FRANCE!! (southern) and from there...STROM will take over... OR...we will DSL it from France to Slovenia!

    So the cost to give Strom this engine will be "Shipping from Minnesota to Seattle" then (possibly) trucking from France to Slovenia!
    AND WE ARE THERE!!!!

    So now is the time for ALL X'sers (everywhere) to show our stuff!

    So...Ken, Denny, Rob, Jerry, Ken (ratbyke) James, and all the others who have been so supportive...it's CRUNCH time!

    SPREAD THE WORD!!! It's coming, Strom!...and this WILL happen!

    Like I said before "I can do this myself"...and will if I have to...
    but I know what kind of people you really are!

    The kindness, generosity, fellowship and concern shown by you, defines you!
    So let's get this to Strom...and help another X-sive person ride another day!

    STROM...start cleaning out a spot in the garage...X-mas IS coming!
    And there's going to be a BUNCH of Santa's

    OK, dunno bout Minnesota to Seattle shipping, but I'll ask around.
    Can you tell me the zip codes of both locations for further reference?
    I will also ask bout Copenhagen - Slovenia possibility.
    Once it's in Europe, it's less of a problem for me to arrange a transport (a few beers to cheap range) to Slovenia.
    OK, gonna go tidy up the garage/workshop and send some emails.

      MOTOR UPDATE

      Hi, again...

      Well it looks like this thing is in gear now...
      The responses are coming in...

      Here's my proposal: I will list ALL contributors...No amounts (unless specifically requested)
      That way if you 'pitch in' and I forget to list you...(please forgive) you can remind me!

      I will keep a 'ledger' in case something goes wrong!
      And I will personally refund EVERY dime! (or LOON)

      This won't take much...but every little bit will help!

      STROM: let me assure you...I have had MANY offers of help to this point...and everyone who has heard of this has expressed their wish to assist in some way!!!

      These Guys (and Gals) ARE simply AWESOME!!!

          HELLO...
          Well if that's the way you guys want it then so be it...
          NO LIST!

          Molly-n-I will just make a BIG CARD and send it along with the motor...
          And all you Santas can stay in the bushes!

          And only you, me, and the person getting the gift will know who to thank

          But for anyone who wants to start at the top...Send a BIG THANK YOU to my buddy Bob...he 'donated' the motor! (actually I cried and begged my butt off )

          He's a great guy...inspite of the fact he rides a 'Wing...(please don't hold that against him)...you can thank him personally at: robertc476@yahoo.com...he goes by the 'handle' '82 wingrider...

          If you do nothing else...please thank BOB...he's the one making this possible! (well, giving the motor was a start )

            BIG UPDATE

            HEY Everybody...

            In this crazy mixed up world, that we live in...strange and un X-plainable things happen!

            I don't know just X-actly what you guys did...but...now my buddy wants to drive this Motor TO MY HOUSE!

            Way back in the beginning...I offered Bob a "Big steak Dinner" when we met to pick up the engine! (in Idaho)

            Then he went fishing in Alaska...and 'couldn't' get the time off to bring it out!

            Then I asked for your help...(and got it ) then 'suddenly' he's got the time

            I won't get angry...just tell me what youse guys did!

            I have this vision: "A horde of friendly smiling X-Ser's descended upon his world...and moved him into further charity"

            Or we're bugging him so bad...he just wants to 'get rid of us'
            In either case...this is working!

            NOW FOR THE 'Donations' that I've already received...

            I will offer Bob gas money from the donation pool...and buy them the Steak Dinner, myself!
            Any X-cess funds will be held to complete the journey from France into Slovenia!
            If that is X-ceptable to YOU'ALL
