Rip off artist on Ebay

Back in early June I sent a personal check for payment for an auction fo k&N Filters. This persons information is:
Don Lange 4134 Queen Ave. N Minneapolis, MN 55412 ebay name was dominic_larenzo(don@weblocator.com)

He kept holding me off by telling me he was moving to Arizona. So I waited and still no filters. He only got me for $37. He sold a carb set to someone else whom has also left him negative feedback for over $100 loss.

Unfortunatetly this rat does not care about feedback since he is no longer a registered user on Ebay.

Well, you live and you learn. By the way, the MN address was where I sent the check. I should know better than to trust someone with less than 5 positive feedbacks.

Hey there Thumper,

I think I remember hearing about how they have a fairly high number of fraud complaints against Ebay on the news a while back. Have you contacted Ebay itself, and informed them of the person's info. Of course they may/will probably get back on with an ALIAS and screw some more people. Like you said, have to watch those low feedback values, however I have a fairly low level due to not selling much there, and buying very little as well, guess I need to buy some more stuff to ramp up my rating!?
