    Reasonable bike mover?

My brother-in-law is wanting to buy a bike that is on the wrong side of THe States.
Is there a reasonable bike moving service that any of you used?
To add $600 in shipping, it kinda makes a "good deal" not so good.
    TIA
    Mike

Major trans-continental whole-house movers will often allow space on their trailers to piggyback a small amount of space on a standby basis to another shared customer with the same origin/destination- Allied and Belkin Movers are two that come to mind- helps pay for the diesel fuel and fills up the trailer.

Forgot to add- probably have to drain all fluids and crate it.
