    Hi Scoobes

Did a bit of internet investigation on your behalf.

From the details you posted the town (village?) of Craig is in Nebraska.....see

    http://eachtown.com/city_info.php/cityid/26106

    Dead center USA...

I used Mapquest to find the place and zoomed in on a town street map....SMALLLLL PLACE. There is no Co. Rd (maybe short for County Road??) - still not a County Road evident either. Maybe our Ameican XS mates can shed light on what "1730Co.rd F" could be.

Bit of a start...good luck with getting further.

BTW - heard you were interested in a certain Midnight Special that may be for sale..... (Brian's been in contact)....best of luck, had a picture of it...seems pretty clean - Graham

I found this place on mapquest. It's about 2 hours south of me. It's a little closer to our friends in lincoln Ne. Or even closer to our friends in Sioux City. Regardless, If you want. This sat. If there open, I can buzz down there and pick up your stuff and ship it to you? I do know that being overseas. Customs has a hayday with stuff. I learned this the hard way when I was stationed in Germany.

Well, looking at the address in Mapquest, looks like someone is doing business out of their garage or barn, since the exact location is out of the town of Craig, NE, in itself not big at all, see http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp...rch=++Search++

Nothing came back under that name as far as phone numbers in Anywho.com neither. I would try sending emails threatening to report them to Ebay and Paypal if you paid that way, as well as threatening nasty feedback. Sometime it works.

Sounds like you are dealing with a middle Ebay man who actually does not have yet the stuff he lists online... They are getting more and more common. Check his feedback also, if there are many negatives, not good...

Maybe that's the perfect excuse for an XS member to take a day ride down there... I can't do it, it's a 6 day ride from FL...

Scoobes, let me tell ya what I'm gonna do...If you do not have any luck with this clown, I happen to have the seat cowl from Organ Donor just laying around, and if you're willing to cover the cost of postage, I'll let you have it. It is Macho Maroon, but kinda faded, and a few light scratches. Let me know if you're interested. I had it sold once but the guy backed out, saying he wanted one in perfect shape. Good luck finding one of those from a 26 year old bike.

            hey scoobes

if you email me a little more info about yourself/the seat/auction i will try to shoot up there this weekend. i'm guessing it will be some farmhouse, and they will likely be surprised to see somebody show up at their doorstep with a complaint. i will probalby have better luck if i refer to you as "a friend" rather than some stranger from the internet that lives half way around the globe.

i typed in mapquest from craig nebraska to the specific address - looks like one mile west of town, two south, and about another 1/2 west. should be easy enough to find. Hopefully whoever took your money gave their true address

like srq68 said - sounds like an ebay middleman.

Good luck scoobes! Sound like you've got a heck of a support group in this area . Being a long time e-bay trafficker I suggest rating this goober appropriately. In all fairness, the customs thing can be a real issue.
