Had to re-register!

Can anybody explain why I had to re-register with the site using a different username and email? I noticed a while back (before the hacks), that I would be logged-in, but I couldn't post. I also couldn't get into my user control panel. I also couldn't send a message to the moderator (JP?), to find out what the problem was. I even tried re-setting my password to no avail. In desperation, I finally re-registered with a different username and email account. Anybody have a clue what happened? Maybe there should be some sort of "emergency link" to be able to contact a moderator in case somebody should have a similar problem? It was really frustrating to be able to log in, yet not have permission to do anything, or be able to contact someone about the problem!

Sending a PM or email to me is the easiest way to get day-to-day problems such as yours adressed. Please email me with the other account info so I can delete it from the system (don't post it here). I can also tell you why it was not working. At the top of the page is a 'forum leaders' button that you can hit to get admin and moderators names and then PM them or email them through the forum.

Well, I tried to send PM's, but everything I tried to do gave me an error message that I did not have permission. An I did try to send an email at the link here on the site, but I kept getting it bounced back with a "relaying denied" error. Tried using two different accounts too.
I'll send a PM with the rest of the info.
