password issue again

This is the 3rd time I had to reset my password as I cleared my search history in Windows Edge and the password that worked before suddenly didn't work this time. The box is checked where it says save passwords. I enter my username and password and says invalid login attempt. I request a password change and then have to wait for another email with a number then it says invalid entry and then I close windows and I can now login in. Being a member on here for quite some time-this is plain BS. Why is this process complicated? Mods or someone explain?

You haven't been here in a while, the site has been running in limp mode, no moderator help, no password reset.

see if this helps. Seems many are able to logon using this method.
Your User Name and Password are likely OK. It might be as simple as checking the Box to the right of User Name and then clicking Refresh when the next page pops up.

So to confirm what's happening: you enter your User Name and Password as normal, then click the Log In box?

If this is the error that you are getting then some of us are successfully using an EZ workaround:

Database error
The XS11.com Forums database has encountered a problem.

Please try the following:
Load the page again by clicking the Refresh button in your web browser.
Open the xs11.com home page, then try to open another page.
Click the Back button to try another link.
The xs11.com forum technical staff have been notified of the error, though you may contact them if the problem persists.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

I'm not sure if that is the Error Message you are getting, but if it is just try this to Log on:

Enter User Name
Enter Password
Click on that 'Remember Me' small box to the right of your user name
Then click Log In box

Next you will get at Database Error popup message that I listed above.
All you need to do is click on that Refresh
when you click on that hypertext refresh then

Presto, you should be logged in

I think quite a few of us are getting on 11.com using that process.
Works like a charm every time. Never had any problems at all getting on using that method.
btw: I've been having to login that way for about six months or so.

Does the same to me but all I have to do is click on the forum link and then alls ok.

go figure.

I know a few guys on the uk site would like to join here but no luck....
