  • Getting cold!

Took the beast out today for battery charging. The Beast is naked, no windscreen. I froze my face! I think I had better wear a full face helmet or put the bike to sleep for winter. Got a headache from that.

Gee, and it was high 70's and smokey today on my ride! Yeah, I love the Rockies, but living on the Monterey Bay does have it's good points!

Here in the great northeast Pa, where you can get all 4 seasons in a day, it’s been holding on to summer. I took the 850 down to Hershey for the weekend with rain in the forecast both days. Over 250 miles logged and never got a drop!!! The way down was cool and comfortable, maybe 65. The return trip was ungodly hot for my new leather and gloves , sunny and 81! I always use a full face helmet. Spent Sunday afternoon with my old ladies #1 son at Dukes, a great little bar and grill watching the Steelers win and the Ravens not! Eating everything in the place! Lol good day. He felt a little less joy being a Raven fan.

Its still summer temps here but the leaves are beginning to die ..The pesky mosquitoes are still around ..Hopefully they'll be gone soon.. All the mountain festivals in WNC and in the SE mtns are in full swing..leaf peepers will be clogging the roads...glad we had our rally before the leaf peepers took over...

No white stuff on this side of the 'hill', as you would of guessed Bonz. Just a rain drizzle the past four days.

The ground is white today. 28F this morning. Yesterday there was freezing fog in the morning. The XS11s are covered with a thin layer of snow. I am just waiting for the road to the shed to dry out so that I can put my babies to sleep for the winter.

Greg, go ahead and rub it in. You can use that warm weather to ride as you probably need it.
