Nice spin out today to test out the Lazer exhaust on my Sport. And clicked over on the odometer

Interesting option of a 4into1 exhaust. Bike in nice condition for having a 100K on odometer!

I had a Kerker on it which I loved but its my 4 seasons bike and the salt they put on the roads here killed it last winter, I had to fit this Lazer.
I took the Lazer off one of my other XS11's years ago as it ran rough but running out of options I had to use it now, I'm getting the bike ready for the XS1100 rally in Berlin Germany in June, I was pleasantly surprised to find it pulls harder than the Kerker on this bike.

The bike is bit rough round the edges now, the photos make it look better but thanks anyway.

Strangely it still looks the same, I expected all the dull and rusty bits to turn all shiny again but nope, didn't happen.

I did a round trip of 120 miles to visit a new girlfriend, the photos were on the homeward bound end, so no the sheep weren't looking too appealing John

What great scenery and a beautiful day, nice bike too.

I've been trying to figure out where you took those pictures. Only thing I can come up with is Whinlatter Pass east of Braithwaite? No trees, no rock face exposed mountain peaks (but still pretty high), and the gravel river bed. I don't know, just guessing.

Bike looks terrific and ready for the trip to Germany. Hope you can take a few extra days to enjoy the ride and see some sights. Be sure to post some pictures of the rally if you can. We'd like to see that.

Noticed the ignition key on the 00000 Odo picture. So I rode up to Amicalola Falls and parked my bike in the gravel parking lot to hike up to the falls. Nice hike. Got back to the bike, NO KEY Crap, NO KEY. Started to retrace my steps and about 10 feet from the bike I found the key laying in the dirt. Guess I missed my pocket. Got lucky. Now key is attached to fluorescent orange small ring.

Jeff, the photos were near Kirby Stephen, east of the Whinlatter area by 50 mile (-ish). It is a fabulous area for landscape and very similar to Whinlatter. And similar to Hardknott and Wrynose passes (20mins from my home) landscape.

The key was still in the bike when I took the photos as the engine was still running, I'd pulled over to take them.

Yes I have two weeks for the trip, visiting German friends on the way who are all going to the rally, some of them riding with me. I can't wait.
