Who ever takes charge of sorting out the patch I'd be one of the first to buy one.

Patches like this have become a real PITA.

TO put anything like the words YAMAHA, XSEleven, The tuning forks, as well as the actual bike IMAGE with names/logos, ALL require getting copyright permissions from YAMAHA corp. for any patch/embroidery shop will make them. It's free, but because of their requirements, they say that they can't be sold for anything more than the actual cost of making and shipping them. And they THEN limit the production run to only 100 patches!

A few of us went thru this many years ago, and regrettably aren't up to doing it again, especially for just 100 patches.

Now, you might be able to find an ONLINE shop based outside of the USA and therefore may not feel so bound by Copyright laws, don't know?

I've got some graphics of the 78E that I made for the 30th patch, and would be willing to send them to you or anyone via email if they wanted to pursue this venture!?

                40th Patch

A quick design I came up with. I'd like to see what the previous patches looked like.

Now to approach Yamaha for permission.

I would color the bike instead of it being a silhouette.

Maybe a black outside ring with white lettering. Maybe a maroon (like the color of the bike) and then the bike in there.

To fix the problem one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed.
