Daytona Official Bike Week 2018 Welcome Center Official dates are March 09, 2018 to March 18, 2018 ?

The Florida Rally group will be in staying in Clermont on Thursday March 8th then going to the Eustis International Bike Show & Swap Meet at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Eustis on Friday March 9th.

Not planning to go to Daytona as a group. Heading north evening of the 9th (at least I am) as traffic jams up going south.

Join us in Clermont for dinner on Thursday 8th if you can. No restaurant picked yet so stay tune for that on the Rally thread. Staying at Days Inn on US27 on the highway up to Howdy-in-the-Hills, FL19 I think it is.. Or join us Friday at the Bike Show.

I am going to be coming from Texas for the dates March 9 - 13th at the Shores in Daytona and perhaps longer. Meeting some friends in Crystal River and Ocala area and our route through the Ocala National Forest.

In all my years going, I only saw one 1 xs1100 special.

Maybe it was me! Bike Week is strictly a Harley biker thing. Not much riding is involved.

Three years ago you could have seen 2 XS11s at the same time in Daytona. Four of us went. One Ferguson, one Beamer, one XS1100 Special, and one Venturer.

Yes, I agree, 90% are probably Harley’s and the rest are Japanese and others. I’ve always liked Japanese bikes, also liked Triumphs too and took a liking to Enfields. Some of the newer Japanese bikes look like Harleys.

Bike Week

I've been three times to Bike week and/or Biketoberfest, but will not be there this year for Bike Week. However, several of us are headed south to Florida first of March. Check out the schedule on the FL Ride within the Rallies (North America) Southeast heading here on the site. Join us if you can.

Maybe it was me! Bike Week is strictly a Harley biker thing. Not much riding is involved.

Yeah, not much bike riding. A lot of those amazing S&S powered custom builds with associated bling that's the draw
Exhibition parading and the Partying ........... Certainly not an ATGATT event, speedo or bikini optional.

Races used to be good. Road Race & Dirt flat track. Never went but I think the Alligator Enduro was during Bike Week too.

There is good stuff at Bike Week to be sure. For most, it's beer, boobs, and bikes, with bikes optional.

Sorry I missed it, but I went to Daytona and did not see a single Yamaha XS, but the dumbass that I am, as I was leaving an older Yamaha large 3 wheeler parked next to me and in my hurry to catch up with my friend on main street I failed to take a picture of it.

Did Yamaha produce any 3 wheelers or was the just a possible custom job.

I saw a lot of Harley's and 1 neat looking older Honda, I will post some picks of said event.
