  • Snagged a Standard Exhaust off eBay for $160

Not sure how you guys missed this. Here & there I check eBay for original Standard exhaust, as my right pipe eventually got a hole in the top (I replaced my left pipe a few years ago with an '80).

Guy was offering it for $185 obo., and I offered him $160. Free shipping. Mufflers look good. I asked him to check for pinholes, etc. He said there were none, and claims to know the history of the bike.

Not sure if I'll put these on just yet. The bike is ready to go in the Spring, short of oil & tires needing changed. But, I have them for when it's time to change them. I'm very happy, as the route I was going to go was the EXPENSIVE Supertrapp mufflers. Eek!!

Mac was original to my bike. 4-2 turnouts. The headers were painted black. I hated the look. Found the OEM set from a guy locally. The left side developed a hole, that turned ugly quick. Found an '80 off eBay, and fixed things good. The right side then developed a hole, that is now a crack.

A solid OEM set sounds so much better than Mac.
