Guess I should post a pic of what it was 4 1/2 years ago when it was freshly finished and I sold it to finance the trip to XS Southeast. That was the year I got a weeks stay in the Asheville hospital due to my error in judgement.

This a great story. Better than the Hallmark movies this time of year.
I'm sure you will enjoy getting her back into shape.Leave a comment:

This is good .............
Way to go. Green Hornet back in the fold. Hope all the repairs are fairly easy. I'm looking forward to seeing green again.
Sell High & Buy Low, what a concept. Glad it boomeranged back to you.
Jeff
was looking at Lost Rally 12Aug2013 to see Green Hornet on that trip. But I see what you were saying about the 'source' pics aren't there either on your PB account.Last edited by JeffH; 11-26-2017, 03:16 PM.Leave a comment:

The Green Hornet is home.
I bought The Green Hornet back yesterday. It's no longer green though, it's bright red/orange.
It seems it's been passed around the OKC area by several owners since I sold it 4 1/2 years ago. It's really amazing how a bunch of dumb ass hillbillies can do to a nice bike in a very short time.
It appears that it hasn't been wrecked though and everything is still there except the leather bags. The supports I put on there are still intact though. The fairing was removed but I got it with the bike and it still has the Green Hornet decals on it and appear to be in good shape.
Carbs need overhaul, it's not charging probably due to the alternator wires being melted on the exhaust.
All in all it's not too bad, just needs some paint and TLC to be retuned to it's former self.
I lost the left side cover on the way home from the barn out in the sticks I found it in. It was on a farm out near Fletcher, Oklahoma. Look it up on MapQuest.
Wish I could still post pics here.Tags: None
