I bought The Green Hornet back yesterday. It's no longer green though, it's bright red/orange.
It seems it's been passed around the OKC area by several owners since I sold it 4 1/2 years ago. It's really amazing how a bunch of dumb ass hillbillies can do to a nice bike in a very short time.
It appears that it hasn't been wrecked though and everything is still there except the leather bags. The supports I put on there are still intact though. The fairing was removed but I got it with the bike and it still has the Green Hornet decals on it and appear to be in good shape.
Carbs need overhaul, it's not charging probably due to the alternator wires being melted on the exhaust.
All in all it's not too bad, just needs some paint and TLC to be retuned to it's former self.
I lost the left side cover on the way home from the barn out in the sticks I found it in. It was on a farm out near Fletcher, Oklahoma. Look it up on MapQuest.
Wish I could still post pics here.
