Well, no surprise that I've been enjoying driving it back and forth to work these past couple of weeks, learning more about it, getting more comfortable and confident in handling it, it's a bit wider than my little blue box and getting the brain/eyes retrained for proper spatial perception so I can safely stay in my lane! I'm tall, but still had to set the bucket seat a bit higher so that I could better see across the hood and out the side windows and still not hit my head on the headliner.

As an example of learning something new, I was watching Sunday Morning today and one of their little quick facts was that nay of the vehicles made in the 2017 production year do NOT have a spare tire to help cut down on weight and improve fuel economy! I hadn't checked, just assumed that it had one, perhaps even a little pizza temp spare? I had seen inside the little trunk, but hadn't actually checked under the trunk floor for the spare.

SO...I went out and looked, and sure enough, NO SPARE TIRE! INSTEAD, there was a bottle/canister of sealant, and an electric plug in AIR PUMP to be able to temporize a flat/puncture enough to get me to a tire shop or such?

"Surprise, surprise, surprise", as those of you old enough to know who GOMER PYLE was, echoed in my brain. I know some folks have to RUN FLAT tires, but mine are just standard 245/50-18 Goodyears.

So...for those of you looking to get a new vehicle soon, here's something to check out before you decide/buy!

Another thing that surprised me was AFTER I took actual possession and drove MY car was that the exhaust sound wasn't quite as throaty as what I had seen/heard on the commercials as well as on the Rally Sport(RS V-6) model I got to test drive. Mine still has a little bit of throat when I really get into the throttle/gas peddle, but it's overall a bit quieter than what I had expected.
Oh well, perhaps it'll open up a bit more as I drive it, who knows, not a big deal, and it's NOT A HARLEY.
