my photobucket account came back on line. Are my pictures available to everyone again? I've lost my videos when the computer fried but at least you may still have the still's. If I can get the vidoes off the old hard drive, I'll spend the winter producing the movies and spend a weekend in Toronto uploading them to Utube. then provide all the links to the administration here.

Haven't checked any of your threads, but if you had photos on Photobucket, they are still there. With the Google Chrome browser and the photobucket ADD ON, the photos are visible in all threads from anybody that used it to post.

As long as your computer's spark show was probably the POWER SUPPLY and perhaps the Mobo, but not the hard drive, your tech friend should be able to recover the videos, if it didn't suffer a power spike. However, IF the files were in your specific Log-on USERNAME My Documents folder(s) like photos or videos, then it can be a bit more difficult because of the protection windows puts on those documents IF you aren't able to LOG IN using your username and any log in password you may have had on your computer.
