Wow! They did some serious mods. The extended swing arm I'm sure ruined the handling though.

        Chain

Long swing arm is for straight ahead racing. $30k means he really doesn't want to sell it.

Lengthened swing-arm is designed for drag strip racing... only.

Is the front sprocket area blacked out in one of the photos? to hide the "any gear ratio that you wish" set up I'm guessing.

I was under the impression that you either had a tiny front sprocket because of the gearbox selector housing, or had to do major engine casing mods to allow a bigger sprocket, or major frame mods to allow a longer output shaft allowing a bigger front sprocket to be outside of the gear case, hence the frame mods for the chain run.

Sorry, I 'spose this subject has been covered many times in "chain conversion" threads

Restricted to a tiny front sprocket isn't what I'd call "any gear ratio that you wish" so I assume he has other mods he doesn't want us to see.

Yep, can only run a tiny chain eating front sprocket. He probably blacked out that area because it makes the bike look like sh!t.

If he had just done a little extra work and took out the xs11 engine, and put an R1 engine in there, that would really be something. Give him a lot more rear wheel HP..

Haha and maybe an R1 frame to handle the HP

Looking at the huge rear sprocket (60t at a rough count) and the way the chain at the front looks like it goes to a small front sprocket the final gearing must be REALLY low

Test post of other photo SHOWING the front drive sprocket

He didn't black out the area in the other photo in the set, I'm trying to link and show it here without having to download it to my photobucket!? Okay, it worked, remember you can click on the image to see the larger sized image and the sprocket area closer larger.

                        Test:

Looks like the conversion just places the sprocket more to the LEFT to help clear the engine case area a bit. I zoomed in on it a bit, but I can't tell for sure if it's a 14 or 16 toother??

I used Ctrl and scrolled to enlarge and yes, I think 14 and it does clear the case. The chain must come seriously close to the bottom frame tube, I've seen these cut out for chain clearance.

I sent him a message asking why it was blacked out and wanting to see better what it looked like. Let's see what he says.

                              My question to him:
Why is the front sprocket area blacked out in the main picture? What does the sprocket area look like?
                              His Response:
                              New message from: steveoslater
I have blacked out this area due to the years of work and extensive research I have invested in this project. I have built motorcycle accessories before and had pictures of them online and they have been stolen by large corporations and I'm not about to let that happen again.
                              My response back:
So you are saying that you will not let people see what they are bidding on? Sounds more like you are trying to hide something to me if that is the case.
