It's been 9 years now since I let my XJ1100 go. In 2008 I moved to a new to me 2003 V-Strom 1000. 50,000 miles later and I still love it. I happened by the dealer today and saw the new Strom. It didn't inspire me like the original. Then I saw the new Yamaha SCR 950 standard. Granted it's a twin but it reminded me of the classic 80's muscle bikes. It also reminded me of some great times on the XJ and meeting some great folks around here. I just wanted to stop by and say hello. Maybe someday an old XS will find its way into my garage again.
