    Now i did it. Went and bought competion for my scooter.Now the proud owner of a 16 foot boat.Chicks in bikinis or ride around waving at guys on bikes.....Well at least i wont wear out my xj this year...lol

    You've probably heard these already. Two happiest days...the day you buy it & the day you sell it...or...deffinition: a hole in the water lined with fiberglass into which you throw money!! I have one too and it never made it into the water last year. So far, this summer isn't looking any better. Constant rain is keeping the river muddy and high. I really need to run some gas through it or the quadrajet is going to look like a set of these mikunis that have been sitting too long.

      i know...

      but i've been out on this boat for the last couple years (all aluminum) its a 1965 lone star,with a 1970 evenrude outboard,been runnin as good as my xj for 10 extra years to boot.But i hear ya man

        Change that to a hole in the water lined with aluminum Good luck with the new venture. And.........I hope you have better luck picking up babes in bikinis than me and my pardner did back in the early 80s. We used to hit all the bars on Sat night trying to find females to go boating on Sun. More times than not it was me, him, his boat and a case of beer. I did become a pretty accomplished marine mechanic in the process though
