Link from website to a thread is not difficult. Just use the address for the thread (it is in the URL or address bar of your browser) and create an <A HREF=" URL of thread "> link. Clicking on the link will take you the thread. I've done this a couple times on rally pages to go to specific rally threads.

Side note, not bike related: I am looking for a brush chipper. More info at http://www.appleattic.net/Galleries/chipper.html
      Any help would be appreciated!

2006, Aptos, CA to Cleveland, OH and home via Tacoma, WA. Saw a LOT of family and friends, did an iron butt ride, and just had a great time! 7,300 miles in 12 days. Rode mostly solo, with riders now and then along the way.

Western Colorado to Brockville, Ontario in 2014. Came back by way of Niagara Falls, had not been there in decades. Up to Chicago where I stopped to visit my sister. Back to Colorado. Ran about 5,200 miles total. URL to a Galleries page of this trip is at:
          http://www.appleattic.net/Galleries/brockville14.html

Did this on my '06 Connie, not the XJ. Longest XJ trip was to Lake Tahoe, California, in '05. From there I went up to Portland, Oregon to visit my daughter, then back to western Colorado via the Columbia Gorge and through Salt Lake City. Don't remember the miles, think it was around 3,200 by the time I got home.

My gallery page of that trip is at http://www.appleattic.net/Galleries/tahoe_05.html

For me, riding to California on my ST1100 with Jerry to the CalyRally in Santa Margarita, and was my first ever attending a rally of any kind. Was a hoot, especially meeting and riding with a bunch of riders from here on the site for the first time. Was WELL worth it! Definitely fun enough, wife and I trailer queened my Venturer 1100 out to same place following year, and even drove my F-350 diesel full length of Pismo Beach. Even trailering the Venturer out there and site-seeing, playin' tourist in the truck while there was a hoot!

My ride from Cincinnati OH to Redwood City CA.About six weeks on the road.Stayed and a friends house and rode up and down the coast for a couple of weeks.I went out on I 80 and frozen my tail pipe off and lots and lots of rain. On the way back I took a southern route.

Took three trips to Ogden Utah to see another friend and would ride up in the mountains when he was at work.

My problem is I am fair skinned so I always got sun burnt:-)I was burnt on the top of my hands from the sun reflecting of the mirrors..took me awhile to figure that one outSore butt on my rides..you bet ya,my... would fall asleep also.

I do like ferry rides,One in the Carolina's and one in northern MI to Beaver Island and there were a few other short rides on ferry's.

My 11 Special is not the best road bike but it is mine,we have an understanding.

I keep it pretty local, so as they say, 'do not judge me'. Anyway, my best ride recently was a trip to Michigan's Upper Peninsula (UP) from the Frankfort MI area. We went to a little berg called Paradise. Of course, the ride was beautiful, green, and Pure Michigan. And, of course, the best part was crossing the Mackinac Bridge on 2 wheels. It was once the longest suspension bridge in the world, and every time I see it, it still thrills me to cross it, whether in a car or on the bike.
It wasn't a long trip, but I had good company, my buddies were on a BMW and a Honda. Will definitely do it again.

Just like Mark, most of my riding is one day trips or shorter.

Last year I joined a 3-day moto-camping trip. We spent the first day meandering our way to the Blue Ridge Parkway via back roads. Day 2 we rode the Parkway with stops for gratuitous pictures and lunch. Day 3 we rode home via back roads.

We carried all of our gear for the 3 days on our bikes. We made one stop at a grocery store over the three day trip.

Each of the two nights camping were at a campground along the Blue Ridge parkway. One night was in NC and one night in VA.

The trip was a blast. I will do a similar trip this year when we can schedule the event.
