Wow!.......interesting, I actually remember when he was the one who rode the XS11 in late fall of 77'(IIRC) to its record holding ' worlds quickest production motorcycle in the 1/4 mile'..........all 110lbs. of him soaking wet. He definitely was the one who knew how to get a scoot to the 'big end' of the quarter mile in a hurry, and most all the manufacturers made use of him.

Yeah that is a shame. My wife's uncle let me know about that over the weekend. I should've posted something up here on the XS forum.

BTW, ZRX carbs have the same spacing as the XS11... http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35462

Not an issue........Mike had ya' covered.

Also, I have a story related to the Expo that took place in Caly that dealer in Durango, Co. who sold me my 81Venturer new related to me. I'll save it for another time, and all I'll say at this time is it IS related to the XS1100's FIRST introduction at that show, which he and many other dealers attended, dinner banquet room and all. It had to do with Pee Wee Gleason and just a big screen video, as there was no XS1100..... present at that time.
