  • Added Another Yamaha to the Family

Since we moved back to the cold white north again last month, we decided we needed some winter toys. So I decided on a 2004 Yamaha RX Warrior snowmobile. The one I found even happened to be black and yellow just like my XS11! It's got the R1 motorcycle engine in it and can get up and moving pretty fast! It is however about 100 pounds heavier than its comparable 2 stroke brethren. Wife didn't like that is was so heavy and decided after being on the back of the Yamaha for awhile that she wanted something of her own a bit smaller and lighter. So she got a 2001 Arctic Cat ZL 550 for herself.

Here are some pics of the Yamaha, we don't care about the Arctic Cat here...

        Nice Sled

        That's one mean looking sled!

I own two Yamaha Excel V sleds. My good friend has them in his garage in Pennsylvania.

I haven't been on any sled in more than 20 years! Don't get enough snow in ATLANTA Thanks for making me feel home sick for snow!

          Kurt,

Good thing about Georgia is that you do not stay home sick for snow for very long. If you went to PA, you would soon be home sick for all the days that you are able to ride with the wind in your face in GA!

Not actually pics of the one I bought, I just stole the pics off the internet cause I didn't have any decent ones of mine. Yeah, there is a few feet of snow here. It was a big change coming back here when the last 3 years we were southern Indiana where I hadn't put a winter coat on for the last 3 winters.
