Several weeks ago Tom contacted me. Tom purchased an amazing Honda 1100 Shadow what a beautiful bike!!and was ready to move on from the xs1100. I can understand why when I saw his new beauty not to mention his awesome girlfriend who probably enjoys the upgrade!
Over the past few years we have traded stories above and beyond XS1100's I helped with parts when ever needed.
Tom went above and beyond to offer me this very nice bike in very good condition. We met up in person for the first time yesterday and like many on the site I felt like we were friends for years. We had a great time a few really good laughs (did I ever put my foot in my mouth!) We had a great time. Tom welcomed me like family. I wish I did not have the 5 hour trip home I could have hung out for hours talking bikes it was great.
Best of all Tom saved a great bike a few minor fixes and it will be screaming down the garden state parkway this weekend.
Tom see you in the spring for an Adirondack Mountains ride!
