On 4/25/2011 Long Beach Cycle Parts accepted my XS as trade-in on a 2006 VT750DC. The shop owner said, "go get it and I will give you something for it" in trade. Long Beach Cycle has moved and the owner only gave me a card to give the DMV in exchange for my XS. I don't know were LBC went - they can't be reached but, he charged me $4199.77 for the Honda.
My reason for parting with the XS is that it wouldn't start and new valves for it cost about $75. My first guess was that they were a little out of adjustment. I also thought the ignitor box might be a broken relic.

I got the money for a new bike as a settlement (my payee JoAnn Davidson wouldn't specify where the money exactly came from) for an injury caused by a Tow Truck Driver. I called Markel Roadside Assistance one evening on the way to the gym from an Albertson's Store near 5th St. and Long Beach Blvd. and they sent Long Beach Towing. I told the dispatcher that I needed a ride to my home at 524 E Rhea on the truck and, when the Tow arrived, the driver said no ride. He said he picked up his buddy so there was no room.

I told them I would walk home and they put my bike on their truck. At the corner of 7th and Elm Street in Long Beach they caught up with me and yelled to walk over to the truck. The driver said his buddy was ok and there was room for me on the truck. I stepped off of the curb and I crashed into the ground breaking a 5th metatarsal on my right foot. I took pictures of the curb later and used them for an Insurance Claim. The curb was about 12" high (twice above normal) and it was damaged and needed repair.

The bike wasn't starting (I had to push it home from the Dentist's Office twice) and Josann favored a new bike so I bought a V-twin. I thought Long Beach Cycle would give me a reasonable sum. The XS had titanium head nuts, a &75.00 titanium engine mount bolt, Jardine Header, custom paint, and looked not scratched or dented. I put ~1200cc Wiseco pistons in it in 2004 and new main bearings so I kind of wonder what is on.
