Anyone had any luck with aftermarket front footpegs. I have a standard 1980 XS1100G. Cannot find any Yamaha out there so whats the next best option as close to stock as possible. Appreciate any and all help.

Yes I saw these on EBAY however I was hoping for something in much better shape or perhaps NOS. All of the others listed in EBAY are not for my bike specifically. And from what I understand the 1980 pegs were differant from other years.

Wish I could quote who said it but : Every motorcycle accident is the riders fault. Think about that a bit and it starts to make since. We have to ride thinking they are after us.

I haven't checked lately, but I believe you can buy XJ1100 foot peg assemblies brand new. They're just a little fancier than stock. Option B is to by pegs for a '79 XS1100SF on the used market. Condition of the rubber doesn't matter because you can buy OEM or aftermarket covers for an XS650. They'll fit the SF pegs.
Just checked. The XJ covers are available up front. Buy the foot rests on the used market.Marty (in Mississippi)
