  • Leak Proof seals

I won't ever buy another set. I put them in a set of forks and 2 sets of XJ shocks and all failed within a year of installation.

    Seals

Yet another "too good to be true" product. Thanks for the heads-up Greg. I also have not been able to find a "leak proof" seal of any kind.

        Seals

Yeah. I bought some a while back. I didn't like the looks of them. Still in the pack.

I was told they were good by someone so that's what I got. They cost like 3x what regular seals are.

I fitted a pair which leaked straight away, fitted a normal set of seals a week later which lasted years. Total crap.

What that means is you pay three times as much and they "give you the leak, free".

Can't afford THAT free stuff. These things are total junk. Glad they didn't give out at the rally.

Dern........could of asked first, and told you the results of others when I was full into moto-x. This has been some 9-10yrs. back, but others results followed suit with your results, 100%.

Those leak proof I have found are only good for dinged up fork tubes where it would rip up a conventional seal. The are easy to install though. You are supposed to leave a gap in between the seal and the top washer/c-clip for them to work/flex correctly.
