What is this?

I was rooting around my XS11 parts box the other day and ran across this. I think I got it with a parts bike a decade ago. It seems to be solid aluminum, milled down to the current dimensions.





I think it's motorcycle related, but I have no idea. Something for putting in fork seals or something, perhaps? Anyone have a clue?

Looks like a home made seal driver and may actually be used in other applications other than Fork seals. There is the seal under the timing cover for main shaft and the seals and bearings and races in the wheels. Would have to be measured to see I am sure others here will chime in.

I thought the same thing as ViperRon- custom made seal driver and/or bearing driver?

I thought it might be a plug to remove a starter but the bearing driver idea is more plausible...

Looking at it, it may be for the bushings inside the forks? If not the fork seals. I know the bushings are NLA, but it seems to have been made a while ago from aluminum bar stock, so who knows....
